ROI at Work: An Interactive Case Study
Never has it been so essential to design talent development programs to deliver results and demonstrate that they do. This process is especially pertinent for programs that are strategic, aligned with operational goals, expensive, and reach a large audience. Unfortunately, program owners often face challenges to deliver results that executives appreciate and understand, including impact and ROI. Many of those challenges can be overcome by simply designing programs to deliver results while applying three foundational skills: critical thinking, listening, and basic math. This live virtual workshop will introduce the ROI methodology while giving participants practice in using these skills.

During the workshop, we will highlight two case studies: mobile learning and leadership development. Using these case studies as the backdrop, participants will learn the basics of designing programs to deliver results and demonstrating that they do by applying the ROI methodology.

    Objectives
After attending this session, participants should be able to:
    1. Describe how they can use the ROI methodology to evaluate their programs.
    2. Identify programs suitable for evaluation to impact and ROI.
    3. Determine when and how to use various approaches to collect and analyze data.

More Than Micro - Designing Learning That Fits
Learning is a critical part of the workplace experience. As business disruption and technology continue to change how work is done, people must constantly rebuild and refresh their job skills. But we can only learn so quickly and retain so much information. And people don’t have a lot of extra time in their busy schedules to dedicate to learning. How can L&D avoid force-feeding people and help them develop just the right skills at the right time?

Join JD Dillon, chief learning architect at Axonify and founder of LearnGeek, for an in-depth exploration of microlearning. You’ll review critical microlearning principles that will help you reimagine your learning ecosystem. You’ll learn how to design training solutions that “fit” within today’s workplace. You’ll discuss the role technology plays in executing a microlearning approach. You’ll evaluate real-world examples that demonstrate how microlearning can enable rapid reskilling and drive bottom-line business results. Finally, you’ll apply microlearning tactics to solve familiar learning and performance challenges.
